Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan Have Split Up After Nearly 9 Years Of Marriage

Stocks in Ginuwine Inc. just went through the roof. Channing Tatum is available for private parties in the champagne room for the first time in almost 12 years because, he and Jenna Dewan Tatum have officially separated. His pony, is waiting, come on, jump on it. They were married for almost 9 years, which is 19 years in real world time, so this is pretty big news. Channing and Jenna, who met on the set of 2006’s Step Up, announced the split via Instagram just to make sure no “alternative facts” (smiley face) start floating around.

Each posted a version of this to their Instagram accounts

Typical Hollywood “long term relationship ends, one child” boilerplate announcement. I imagine publicists have filing cabinets filled with these. Gwyneth Paltrow is the only one who has hers artisanally made and shipped from and Ashram in Nepal. But Channing and Jenna are down to earth “relatable” celebs so good old fashioned American made boilerplate is good enough for them.

Page Six reports that rumors about the split began when Jenna showed up at the Vanity Fair Oscar party without Channing.

She had claimed at the time that he was at home with their 4-year-old daughter, Everly, so she could enjoy a “girl’s night.” She has also been spotted partying in Hollywood with stylist Brad Goreski.

Page Six also says that their crazy schedules are partly to blame for their split. Sounds like their publicist said “I’ll have the usual” and Page Six obliged with several vague sources claiming they were both very busy.

“Channing has been working non-stop, with four movies announced for 2018 alone. It is hard on a marriage to be apart so much, especially when you have a young child. Plus Jenna is in pre-production for the movie, ‘Berlin I Love You.’”

Channing and Jenna have a 4-year-old-daughter named Everly, Sources say they worked hard to make “family time happen” despite the distance but were ultimately unable to sustain the strain. It couldn’t have helped that Channing apparently doesn’t like living in Hollywood when he’s not working.

People says the Jenna did an interview with Health Magazine back in February where she denied that the two were a “perfect couple”, said they really had to work at their marriage like anybody else and while they shared the same values, they often fought and sometimes even “hated each other”(but definitely NO hate-fucking). She also said:

It is a great fit as long as you are growing together, and I think up until this point we’ve really grown together. Even if one starts to grow, the other catches up and vice versa.”

Sounds like one of them got tired of waiting for the other one to catch up.
